Now that this is finally done, I need to be shot. *Is shot.*

So, this picture is for my beloved friend, ~Phantomkels. I was reading her feature journal not too long ago and saw that she had featured an old picture of mine, "You, Too?" ( [link] LOOK AT THE BAD ART ONLY IF YOU'RE RESISTANT TO THE GAG REFLEX). Seeing that picture inspired me to..."upgrade." I've improved so much since then and it felt unfair that such a fun concept shouldn't show it. I couldn't let it just sit there in such little skill! D8 So I redrew it. This time with Phantomkels's current roleplaying character, Sora, representing her.

So yeah, um, for those uneducated souls who don't know this yet, Phantomkels and I are total band geeks. And we like to torture our favorite characters by forcing them to wear our marching band uniforms and play our instruments X'D. Audience: "But Dragon-Face, you play the clarinet, not the tuba!" Yeah, I know. Being that I play the clarinet, and that Ed is representing me, it would make sense for Ed to have a clarinet. But well...you know...I can SO imagine Ed trying to play a tuba/sousaphone in order to prove his "vertical prowess" XDDDDDD. And plus, when this idea first popped into my head, the first thing that I saw was Ed trying to play a sousaphone and toppling over under its weight. IT WAS A MUST-DO! HE WAS DESTINED TO PLAY THE SOUSAPHONE IN THIS PICTURE! GNYAAAAH *obsessive corner.*

Geez, I'm so glad this picture is done. It took FOREVER to fix scanner damage in Photoshop. It was ridiculous. (6 hours!! It was partially due to the fact that I made a stupid screw-up and had to redo half of it, though.) Even though I'm frustrated to the end of the world with it, though, there's stuff I'm really happy with. Like the trees. They're not the best trees ever, but I didn't think they'd turn out so good ='D. I'm so proud of myself. All I want to do is draw and color trees now. (Has anyone other than me realized that the trees in the backgrounds of FMA2 are really pretty? I referenced them when making mine. I could look at the background artwork in FMA2 all day, it's SO beautiful. Um. Oh crap. Off-topic.) Trees. Treeeees. Oh god I'm tired. And stressed out too. *Been on the computer WAY too long.*

Oh yeah. One more thing to say. I know the black on Sora's uniform doesn't match >>. I did Phantomkels's band uniform by memory and forgot that the left side is supposed to be black. So I did a crappy edit in Photoshop. The reason it looks off is because my blue marker is very healthy and my black marker is running out of moisture. *Shakes fist* First the red one, then the black, and now the yellow! GAH! (Speaking of markers, remember that green marker I totally ruined when making "A Romantic Moment?" Just for kicks, I tried it again in order to color the trees, and it worked just fine, just a little dry. WTF?)

One last thing before I crash: If you can't read the dialogue, Sora is saying, "What am I supposed to do with this?" and Ed is yelling, "AAGH!"
