From the Shadows

Oh my, I've been uploading so much art recently! It must be a record, huh~?

Well, today I've felt really sick. I don't have a fever, but the congestion and the sore throat and the waves of nausea are enough for me to consider myself sick >_<. I spent a GREAT day with and , and I was marginally okay, but once I got home it was like everything turned off. So I really didn't want to do something that required too much brainpower, but unfortunately that left me very bored =_=. After probably 20 minutes of staring at the computer, I finally decided that I felt like drawing digital art -- but lo and behold, iScribble wouldn't load for some reason! So instead, I opened up Photoshop and drew this while I still had the inspiration.

I'm really glad I finished it. I almost trashed it three times in the beginning because I was so disappointed with how it looked, but I kept telling myself that I would never get better at digital art unless I kept trying, so I forced myself to finish it. And by the time I was drawing in all the cool black smoky stuff around the frame, I had flipped from hating this to having so much fun with this. It didn't turn out exactly how I had envisioned, but I like it all the same. In fact, it's actually kind of creepier than what I was originally going for, which is TOTALLY fine with me! And I learned a bit about digital drawing that'll help me in the future, too.

So anyway! It's Danny. With red eyes. And totally going evil. Where did I get the inspiration for this? No idea, but I suddenly wanted to draw Danny going evil, LOL. There's just something about Danny's design that makes me want to draw him in grungy and creepy scenes. I mean, come on, he's a ghost and all _{(or half-ghost at least)}, which just beckons creepiness! asdjklf

Well, I'm pretty tired, so I'm not going to go into too much detail. Hopefully I'll be able to translate what I see in my head to the computer better in the future (=. I just have to force myself to practice it....
