This is a concept sketch for my all-purpose OC, Ioyomi Razhinda. I developed her (unintentionally) only recently, but I'm already in love with her XD. (When I say "unintentionally," I mean that rather than sitting here, spinning around in my chair and trying to piece a character together, she just popped into my head one day. I usually love the characters that just "pop up" the most. *CoughEdwardofDarkcough.*)

Ioyomi was originally intended for a setting in the past, and her role was that of an assassin/ninja. However, since she grew on me as an all-purpose character, I adapted her into some other things -- like this for example. Since I'm using her in a roleplay that takes place in the present, I felt the need to design a "modern outfit" for her. So this blossomed! Yay! I'll have to draw her original self soon.

Only one sketch of her is colored because I REALLY REALLY don't feel like coloring anymore. Blech. I think I'm just going to do sketches for a while. But there's really nothing else I need to color, you pretty much got it all with just that one body picture.

Done with a no. 2 pencil, Prismacolor colored pencils, Prismacolor permanent markers, and my brain (^^). Touched up for the Internet in Photoshop.

Ioyomi Razhinda is my brainchild <3. She blongs to me.

I couldnt wait to see what she looked like and WOW

I LOVE the design for her clothes, god its epic

I love just about ever aspect of her... hair... i love the hair XDDDDD very awesome style and of course her eyes are sexy too XDDDD

but the coloring, once again, BA DOW as usual XD it srsly looked like it was digital in my inbox o_o GWAH AMAZING! *spazzes*

Thank you so much! Haha, I honestly didn't think you were that interested in her. After all, she's only an OC XP. I'm so glad you like her so much!

I have to admit, I'm in love with her eyes. I thought the empty, pupil-less look would be perfect for her, as well as the sort of slit-type eye. (That style of eyes look really sexy on girls. Like Lust, for example. More anime girls should have that style!)

I get the "It looks digital!" comment a lot O_o. In fact, Andrietta went months thinking all my work is done in Photoshop until she overheard me telling a friend how I colored one drawing. To me, it seems ridiculous, but well, I suppose it's a compliment XD. Yay!

THIS IS AWESOME!!!! 8DDDD And don't you be goin off on me about how I don't like OCs, cause I do! It's that I don't like FAN-OCs, the ones that are made by some lovesick fan to get close to her favorite character! D< But I love actual Original Characters thought up by someone all on their own!!! 8DDDDDDDD

Ugh, I know exactly what you mean. KILL THE MARY SUES! I understand how you can naturally fall into a trap like that (since, at one point in time, you'd want a character that represents who you want to be) but you know...they're HIDEOUS! D< That's all there is to say.

Now really GOOD OCs...8D I think the thing I love to pull on people the most is that there is so such thing as a canon character. What I mean is, Edward Elric is an OC. He's Arakawa's OC. Naruto is Kishimoto's OC. All these characters we're so in love with are all OCs!! So, it just makes me laugh to hear someone say that they don't like OCs. XDDDDDD They doubt their potential. People need to appreciate unpublished OCs more.
